There has always been hesitancy about small cars in the U.S. Some individuals really just have to have their V-8. That said, automakers are convinced that attitude is changing. Gas consumption and eco-consciousness have become part of the automotive landscape. Not many really want to purchase an SUV the size of El Capitan anymore. Car companies are turning out more models that aren’t garishly large and do not go through gallons at a clip. If an auto costs less on the lot and at the pump, there will always be a market for it.
Come back of Fiat
Fiat has been expected to make a new model that could be launched in the U.S. This is expected because the company bought out Chrysler. It isn’t known whether Fiat certainly plans to enter a new design on the market. However, Fiat has called on Chrysler dealers to start offering the Fiat 500, a wildly popular subcompact overseas. The Fiat 500, according to CNN, would be a smash hit among those mindful about economy and ecology. It gets 56 miles per gallon with the cheap version that has only a two cylinder engine. Fiat already has a plant in Toluca, Mexico. If it is done right, the Mini Cooper is likely to be extremely successful.
starting new things
A brand new line of vehicles is something Bavarian Motor Works will be letting the public see soon within the U.S.. Bavarian Motor Works is planning something large for the United States of America, reports Automotive News. There aren’t many details out about this yet though. We do know a couple of things. The vehicles can be front wheel drive. Also, the motors are going to be four cylinder. The U.S. already has access to the spending budget model within the BMW1 series. There is a spending budget small line for Mercedes as well. The United States of America has never seen any models of that though.
Ford has new Focus
Ford is also pushing smaller models, according to Automotive News. The Fiesta is already selling like hotcakes. Ford is attempting to sell another automobile. The new Focus is being advertised. The Focus could be sold the same way the company sold the Fiesta. There will be a focus on social marketing.
